Fixed Braces

We will ask you to come and see us every 6 to 8 weeks, so we can adjust your brace and keep an eye on your teeth’s movements.

There are some limitations on what you can and can’t eat with fixed braces. Chewy foods like toffees and caramels are a no-no with braces (they can easily become stuck in your brace!), as are harder foods like crusty bread. We may suggest a fixed brace if you’re someone who might feel they don’t have the discipline to wear removable Invisalign® aligners. During your consultation, we can discuss all options open to you and answer your questions about having your teeth straightened.
