Cosmetic Dentures

Comfortable and natural-looking cosmetic dentures can transform your smile and your livelihood. Here at Denmark Street Dental, we can offer implant-supported dentures and conventional dentures, both of which can improve oral function and the aesthetics of your mouth and facial profile.

Thanks to our beautifully crafted cosmetic dentures, there’s no need to put up with wobbly teeth a moment longer. Cosmetic dentures are a set of false teeth, custom-made to fit perfectly over the supporting structures in your mouth and alongside any healthy teeth still present in your mouth. They are highly effective at imitating the function of real teeth and are easy to get used to.

Our quality cosmetic dentures are made with premium materials that are designed not to cause irritation and rubbing on the gums, an issue that can arise from cheaply made designs. At Denmark Street Dental, we have our own on-site dental laboratory with our dental technicians. This means we will be fully in control of every aspect of your denture creation. It’s possible to replace both a full arch of teeth with cosmetic dentures and just two or three missing teeth. We can also create new cosmetic dentures for patients with a set that no longer fits and is uncomfortable to wear.

A new set of cosmetic dentures can give your confidence a boost and bring a new lease of life to your smile.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are my cosmetic dentures made?

A full examination of your mouth is needed prior to treatment. If we identify decay or gum disease, it will be our priority to stabilise this first. Our state-of-the-art digital planning tools are used to take measurements and impressions of your mouth and teeth. If you have remaining teeth, we can match your denture shade to the exact shade of these teeth. If you are having two full arches of teeth replaced, we will discuss the shade you wish your new set of teeth to be.

Do I need to wear my cosmetic dentures all the time?

It’s important that you remove your dentures and soak them thoroughly overnight. Aside from this, you should aim to wear your dentures as much as possible to maintain a healthy-looking bone structure and shape of your face.

Do I need to have healthy teeth to have cosmetic dentures?

No. Dentures are extremely versatile and suitable for virtually anyone with missing teeth. Unlike bridges, they don’t rely on the support of healthy teeth to remain in place when you have them in. Conventional dentures can even be an option for patients with very little jawbone volume.

How are my cosmetic dentures made to look so natural?

Your cosmetic dentures will be created to improve your face’s overall soft tissue profile, resulting in fuller and younger-looking features. Our precise measurements, photos and scans allow us to achieve the right tooth-to-tooth dimensions and the optimal shade for your smile.

What type of materials are used to make my cosmetic dentures?

Whilst it’s important that your cosmetic dentures be as authentic-looking as possible, it’s essential that they’re made from the most high-grade materials available. We use durable and lightweight materials to create your cosmetic dentures, such as high-impact acrylic, cobalt and chrome.

How can I tell if my dentures no longer fit?

It might be time to look into getting a new set of Cosmetic Dentures made if you notice your dentures are:

  • Making clicking noises when you speak.
  • Move around when you chew and speak.
  • Causing gum irritation and/or bleeding.

Do you offer finance for dental treatment?

Yes, we offer interest-free and interest-bearing finance so that high-quality dental care is accessible to all our patients.

I’m embarrassed about coming in – can you help?

We understand that coming in to seek implant-based treatments is a huge life event. Our clinicians are compassionate people who encounter many patients who feel self-conscious about the condition of their mouths. We understand how debilitating lost teeth can be, particularly on your confidence levels and your everyday happiness. We are very happy to book you in for a practice tour or an appointment with our treatment coordinator in a non-clinical setting before your consultation.

Who performs my treatment?

Multiple members of the Denmark Street Dental clinical team will be involved in the planning and treating your dental care. This includes dentists, dental nurses, dental technicians and sedation dentists, who work seamlessly together to deliver predictable results.

Can you offer sedation?

We do. Sedation is invaluable for helping extremely anxious patients relax during their treatment.
